The Tone Room interface is fantastic as a learning tool since I don't know what 'my' sound is and can't afford to go out and buy a dozen pedals and a wall's worth of amps. I like most of the 'out of the box' amp models, although I'll likely stick to the Fender, VOX, and Dumble ones most of the time. Not sure what that's telling me, but it's an easy fix. There is a significant buzz much of the time, but I have discovered that if I have the amp hooked to my computer via the USB cable, the noise vanishes. But I have a VOX AC30 AmPlug 2 when I want/need to play through headphones. I can confirm that the sound is significantly degraded through the headphone jack. I'm a beginner learning at home so this is a great fit and tool for me. I just bought the VT20X yesterday at GC and am happy with it so far.
